अ॒ग्निमी॑ळे पु॒रोहि॑तं य॒ज्ञस्य॑ दे॒वमृ॒त्विज॑म् ।

I offer my prayers to invoke Agnideva, who is a devata (divine personality) of yajna; who is the guide and the performer of yajna in accordance with the yearly seasons; who brings in all other divine personalities in yajna, and who embodies all the jewels of the very existence.
